Askina® Transorbant
Description
Askina® Transorbant is a multilayered semi-permeable
dressing which consists of the following:
- A
hypoallergenic adhesive layer that bonds to
the intact skin, but is non adherent to the wound
surface
- A dry
hydrogel layer with high absorption capacity
- A foam
layer that provides a means for the moisture vapour and offers cushioning to the wound
- A thin
polyurethane layer which is water impermeable and
bacteria resistant
Indications
Management of light to moderate exuding, partial to
full thickness wounds
